Our History

Solo Aircon & Refrigeration Services has established an extensive customer portfolio throughout South Africa.

Working with iconic food brands within the retail, food processing, agricultural and cold storage industries. Our latest projects have set off with remarkable results. We expanded our client base to large-scale packhouses for both refrigeration and cold room installations. 

1992

Solo Aircon & Refrigeration
Services cc was established

1995

Piet Enslin supplied and
installed his first Spar along side
one employee.

2000

Solo Aircon supplied and
installed 19 Stores, including
Spar, Spar Tops, Spar and
Supper Spar.

2006

Solo Aircon was awarded for
multiple awards: Supplier of The
Year, High Quality Equipment
and Installation Contractor of
The Year.

2013

The hybrid system was
developed and introduced. Solo
Aircon installed the first Hybrid
system for PREMIER DC – saving
them 40% on their electricity
bill.

2020

Solo Aircon & Refrigeration
Services installed 17 Hybrid
Systems throughout South
Africa and Mozambique.

2022

Solo Aircon & Refrigeration
Services celebrate our 30th
year as a leading company.

And still growing!

We've since supplied, installed and maintained all aircon units, refrigeration equipment, and cabinets, all over South Africa - including Cold Rooms & Freezer Rooms for 57 Spar and Super Spar Stores, Shoprite's, Pick ‘n Pays, McDonald's and Cambridge Food Supermarket over the past years.
